Luft Travel – Changes & Cancellations Policy (U.S.)

Effective October 2025

1. General Terms

All Luft Travel bookings are subject to airline, hotel, and supplier rules. Most services are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable once issued.

Luft Travel acts as an agent and is not responsible for supplier policies, decisions, or refund timelines.

2. Changes Before Ticket Issuance

Change requests must be made in writing and are subject to supplier approval, fare differences, and penalties.

Luft Travel service fee: up to $50 per person.

Name changes are not allowed; a new booking may be required. Date or schedule changes depend on fare availability and airline policy.

3. After Ticket Issuance

All tickets and vouchers are generally non-refundable and non-changeable once issued.

Limited corrections or date changes may be possible if permitted by the airline, with applicable fees and fare differences.

Expired tickets have no refund value.

4. Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the lead traveler.

Before ticket issuance: $75 minimum fee per traveler plus supplier penalties.

After issuance: Airline or supplier rules apply.

Refunds, if eligible, are processed only after funds are received from the supplier — typically within 8–12 weeks.

5. Airline or Supplier Cancellations

If a flight or service is canceled by the supplier, refund or rebooking options are subject to their policy.

Luft Travel will assist but cannot guarantee outcomes or timing.

6. Hotels & Packages

Hotel and package cancellations follow supplier rules and most bookings are non-refundable.

Cancellations within 48 hours of departure incur a 100% charge.

7. Reward Ticket Cancellation Policy (U.S.)

Tickets purchased using reward points or miles are promotional and non-refundable after issuance.

Points will not be redeposited once the ticket is issued.

Government taxes and carrier fees paid in cash are refundable only if the airline allows. Refunds are processed within 7–20 business days under U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) rules.

No-shows and non-refundable fares will result in complete forfeiture of all points. Airline-specific rules apply.

8. Liability

Luft Travel’s liability is limited to service fees paid.

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or actions of airlines or suppliers once services are purchased.
